Volvo Snowbombing 2011 was more than epic; The Urban Nerds hooked up with Addict clothing to start their new collaboration that will see a collection of exciting new projects for 2011 and beyond.

Volvo Snowbombing started off for “Team Nerds” with the road trip, with over 150 cars (40 of which were donated by Volvo) covering over 800 miles, passing through 4 countries. Alongside MTV, DJ Mag, Professor Green, Example, and a whole host of other celebs and Snowbombers, all cars and various teams arrived in Mayrhofen in time for the street procession in one piece; the party had now officially started!

With 50 plus Urban Nerds affiliated family attending the festival the festival spirits were flying high right from the start. Between Team Nerds we played on mountain tops, in après ski bars, at a silent disco and hosted our very own night which saw David Rodigan, Toddla T, Plastician, Serocee and of course Urban Nerds’ very own champion DJs, Rattus Rattus and Klose One smashing up the Arena club in Mayrhofen. Sweaty!

There were too many highlights to mention, a lot of new friends were made and a few brain cells were lost. A big thank you going out to Volvo Snowbombing, Volvo, Addict Clothing and Eristoff for making it a week that will not be forgotten in a hurry. It’s now back to the grind to gear up for the Summer festival period, make sure you keep an eye out for a number of exciting collaborations between Urban Nerds and Addict Clothing, watch this space.

The Weapon Of Choice Gallery in Bristol is moving location to an even better spot. Some really exciting artists are lined up for this launch and it’s not until April time, so no excuses. Get it in the diary now!

A Big Congrats to my friend for coming out of the recent ”One Born Every Minute” documentary unscathed. Apart from the odd yawn and the constant texting whilst the mrs was taking in some gas, I thought he came across pretty well, unlike some of the other characters on there.
