Spin Doctor

One of London’s biggest hip-hop nights heads to the coast for this new monthly residency. Having established itself with over 4 years of events at venues throughout the capital including Fabric, The Jazz Cafe, Herbal not to mention 3 events with BBE Records at Canvas, each of which were attended by over 3000 people, when it comes to throwing a party these guys know what they are doing.Resident Spin Doctor has been joined by the great and the good of the Hip-Hop world over the years including De La Soul, Guillty Simpson, DJ Spinna, Cash Money, Bobbito, Royce Da 5′9″, Skinnyman, The Nextmen, Mr Thing, Jehst, The Herbaliser, Benji B and loads more as they have continually brought real Hip-Hop back to London with a block party attitude that has always seen the dance-floor packed and the roof set on fire!

Now in Brighton Spin Doctor will be joined by a similar calibre of guest as he and local resident Rusty Ryan rock Jam each and every month with a selection of classic boom-bap, original soul and brand new bangers that guarantee you a great time, every time. For the launch party this month they are joined by one of the most accomplished DJs the UK has ever produced Mr Thing. Equally accomplished at winning battles (he is a DMC UK solo and World Team Champion) as he is making beats, it is in the club that Mr Thing comes into his own. You can expect a phenomenal blend of dance-floor friendly bangers blended as only he can.

Our second guest is Brighton’s own Vinyl addict Russ Rockwell. A Scratch DJ, Beatmaker and rare Rap/Break digger, Rockwell’s previous supporting DJ roles include Afrika Bambaataa, Jazzie B (Soul II Soul), Big Daddy Kane and Scratch Perverts amongst others. Joining us for this special launch party he will be warming up the set for what is sure to be an incredible night.
